The Baloch Students’ Educational Committee (BSEC) is a students led organization that strives to promote education and literacy among the Baloch people. The BSEC was founded in the city of Quetta, province of Balochistan, in 2018. The organization is run by a group of volunteer students who work to provide educational resources and opportunities to their community. One of the BSEC’s primary goals is to promote literacy among the Baloch people. According to the most recent census, only about 43% of Balochistan’s population is literate. This is in part due to the fact that there is a lack of educational opportunities in the province. The BSEC works to fill this gap by providing scholarships, books, and other educational resources to students. The BSEC also provides vocational training to Baloch students. This training helps students learn marketable skills that they can use to find jobs after graduation. The BSEC has opened several vocational training in different parts of Balochistan.
